He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Peterson and Helen Peterson (Hout); his brother Bob Peterson; and his cousins, Dick Peterson and Jane Peterson.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Peterson (Dawson); his sons, Ed Peterson of Mansfield and Rob Peterson (Heather) of Mansfield; his grandchildren, Morgan Martin (Peter) of Medina, Blake Peterson of Mansfield, Cory Peterson (Holly) of Mansfield and Desiree Hornikel (Cory) of Mansfield; his great grandchildren, Grayson Peterson, Blythe Hornikel, Ethan Martin, Leah Martin, Collins Martin and Chandler Martin; and his siblings-in-law, Kathy, Russ Spidel of Bryant, GA, George and Linda Dawson of Bucyrus. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory to Mayflower Congregational Church Memorial Fund may be made at the funeral home.
