He was predeceased by: his parents, Wanda Mae Hootman (Stelle) and Gerald Adair Hootman (Adair Hootman); his nephew Allen Jr. Rheinbolt; his niece Jennifer Renee Hootman; his brothers, Edwin Andrew Hootman and Kevin Aaron Hootman (Cindy Ridenour); and his nephew Jesse Craft.
He is survived by: his siblings, Gerald Adair Hootman II, Sharon Hicks (Ron), Shirley Phillips (Matt), Kenny Hootman and Rhonda Hootman-Jaynes (Mark); and also Deiserea Holden. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and cousins.
