He is survived by: his mother Dolly Hammond (Riffe); his children, Michael Hammond Jr., Brian McGraw and Chastity McGraw; his grandchildren, Michaela Wilson, Jamie Wilson, Isaac McGraw, Jackson Looker and John Geyer; his great grandchild Carter Merritt; and his siblings, Angela Hammond Westmoreland and Jeffrey Hammond. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Snyder Funeral Homes, Lexington Avenue Chapel (2553 Lexington Ave, Mansfield, OH 44904). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 1:00 PM and at 2:00 PM at the same location.
