With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael G. Truax of Mansfield, Ohio, born in Lucas, Ohio, who passed away on June 18, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshall Mann Jr. and Kathleen Elizabeth Truax (Bartels); and his siblings, John Truax, Donna Jean Lock, Marshall M. Truax and George Truax.
He is survived by: his children, Steven B. Truax (Beth), Charles "Chuck" P. Truax (Christi), Michael "Anthony" Truax (Susan), Elizabeth "Liz" H. Salas (Ryan Lambert) and Vince O. McCourt (Kary); his grandchildren, Tyler Clow (Trinity), Matthew Truax (Sasha), Kelsie Frech (Michael), Gabriella Salas (Ben), Maci Robertson (Jansen), Taylor Salas, Kayge Truax (Megan), Kaitlyn Truax (Curtis), Korianne Truax (Nathan), Michael C. Truax, Brittany Hobson (Steve), Kaylyn Anderson (Jon), Nickolas Truax (Sidney), Dianna Truax, Brenna Truax, Sophia McCourt and Liam McCourt; his cousins, Marshall Truax and James Truax; and his close friends, Barbara Truax, Deb Lewis, Robert "Bato" Harris, Richard Lewis (Heidi), Kevin Lewis, Melissa Edwards (Andrew), Michelle Lewis (Tyler), Mike Lewis (Tonya) and Tabitha Lewis. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
