He was predeceased by: his wife Loretta Newlon; and his sister Donna Deskins. He is survived by: his daughters, Kristina Mapes (Jon) and Sara Newlon of Mansfield; his grandchildren, Matthew and Heidi Glass; and his sisters, Jeanie Strickland, Ginger Spencer and Nancy Grubb. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Michael Newlon Memorial Fund, to assist his daughter Sara with living expenses.
