He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Zehner and Lucille Zehner (Shambaugh); his wife Susan Schanne (Sue); his siblings, Harold Zehner, Roy Zehner and Maxine Zehner; and his siblings-in-law, Doris Zehner and Stan Pfeifer.

He is survived by: his sons, David Zehner (Tonya) and Jonathan Zehner (Holly); his grandchildren, Ayden, Colton, Lauren, Liam, Alanna and Luke; his great grandchild Emilia; and his sister Ruby Pfeifer. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
