She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Corwin and Beatrice Corwin; her husband Richard Hartwig; her son Gary "Flatbusch" Hartwig; her siblings, Charlene Reiter (John), Bill Corwin (Elsie) and Bud Corwin (Eunie); and her son-in-law Tom Compton.
She is survived by: her daughters, Laurie Compton (Gary Lanser) and Angie Schwechheimer (Dennis); her grandchildren, Olivia Compton, Joe Compton, Shane Compton, Leah Schwechheimer (Ryan Edwards) and Jacob Schwechheimer (Corinne Comstock); her great grandchildren, Luka Schwechheimer and Lily Schwechheimer (Corwin); her close friend Dorothy Bonin; and also, Greg, Deb Fink, Rick Gardener, Vicky Garcia, Hope Evans, Jill Wentz and Heather Christian. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at the Snyder Funeral Homes, Lexington Avenue Chapel (2553 Lexington Ave, Mansfield, OH 44904).
In lieu of flowers, Patricia's family asks loved ones make donations in her memory to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
