With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Martin Moritz (Mansfield, Ohio), who passed away on March 2, 2023 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Lora Long Moritz; and his parents, Martin Moritz and Jane Miner Moritz. He is survived by: his uncle Peter Moritz; his children, Scott Moritz (Laura) of Jacksonville, FL, Jill McDougall of Neptune Beach, FL and Matthew Moritz of Chicago, IL; his stepson Ryan Dials (Joy) of Mansfield; his grandchildren, Kaylie, Jakeb McDougall, Brianna, Braden Moritz, Trevor and Megan Dials; his siblings, Dianne Stehle (Carl) of Mansfield, Jim Moritz (Becky) of Mansfield, Joe Moritz (Debbie) of Mansfield and Mary Ann Blatt (George) of Sherman, NY; his siblings-in-law, Denny and Connie Long of Orange Park, FL.; his nieces and nephews, Mary Ann Sellers (Ron), Andy Stehle (Carrie), Jeni Stewart (John), Jason Moritz (Carrie), Nathan Moritz (Casie), Joseph Moritz (Liz), Bryan Moritz (Emily), Shawn Moritz (Emma), Katie Dalugoda (Andy), Annie Heck (Jacob), Keri Lewis (Roy) and Eric Long (Jen); and his friends, Leonard Quick and Chuck Hahn. He is also survived by his brothers, cousins, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, charitable contributions may be made to St. Peter's Catholic Church or YMCA of North Central Ohio – Mansfield.
