It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lonnie Gillam Jr. of Mansfield, Ohio, born in Carter, Kentucky, who passed away on April 12, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Gillam Sr. and Rosie Gillam, Jr. (Spillman); and his siblings, Madeline Richmond, Thelma Ivy, Ona Justice, James, Elijah, Isaac, Verlin, Earon, Arch and Moses Gillam.

He is survived by: his sister-in-law Roberta Jo Gillam; and his caregivers, Betty Gillam Brown and Kristy Gillam Hamilton. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and great nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children Hospital.
