He was predeceased by: his parents, Okey Lawhorn and Phyllis Lawhorn (Littleton); and his sisters, Joyce Stevens (Carl) and Janet Tackett (Ernest). He is survived by: his wife Freda Lawhorn; his children, Leona Goulden (Mike Connolly), Leotis Lawhorn Jr., Timothy Lawhorn (Jennifer), Michelle Gonzales (Rob) and Phillip Lawhorn (Kelly Gandee); his grandchildren, Bethany Goulden (Travis Cole), Geoffrey Goulden, Jessica Lawhorn, Ashley Lawhorn, Jenna Gonzales (Kade Sayre), Robbie Gonzales (Trinity Potts), Kayla Gonzales, Taylor Lawhorn, Lillian Lawhorn and Adelyn Lawhorn; his great grandchildren, Isla and Miles; and his brothers, William Lawhorn (Teresa) and Eugene Lawhorn (Trudy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Wappner Funeral Directors-Ontario (100 Lexington Springmill Rd S, Ontario, OH 44906).
