He was predeceased by: his father Gerald Wayne Carpenter; and his grandmother Verda Burgett. He is survived by: his mother Mary Catherine Carpenter (Patterson); his son Justin Jarvis (Demi); his sister Tammy Schulte (Daniel); his nieces, Niccole and Brittany Schulte; and his great-nephew Joesseph Schulte. He is also survived by many aunts and cousins.
Memorial contributions may be made to the James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute.
