He was predeceased by: his parents, Orley C. Hemminger and Maudie K. Hemminger (Hoke); and his siblings, Lelah Daniel, Donald Hemminger, Dana Fretz, Xenith Allgyre, George Hemminger and Daryl Hemminger.
He is survived by: his close friend Terri Hemminger; his children, Heather Scherzer (Michael) of Stevensville, Hope Fluharty (Heath) of Centerville and Chad Hemminger (Sara) of Columbus, Ohio; his grandchildren, Lelah Scherzer, Tyra Fluharty, Carson Hemminger, Owen Wortman and Landen Wortman; his sisters, Oral Kirby of Tiffin, MaryLou Neikirk of Republic, Betty Paul of Tiffin and Bonny Rhoad of Tiffin, Ohio; and his sisters-in-law, Edith Hemminger of Republic and Judy Hemminger of Avon, Ohio. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Barkdull Funeral Home (33 N Gamble St, Shelby, OH 44875). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
