He is survived by: his mother Fanny Teel (Serles); his wife Joyce Teel (Flint); his children, Johnny Teel Jr., James Teel and Jessie Teel; and his siblings, Clayton Teel, Ralph Teel and Fannie Dawson. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren.
