He was predeceased by: his wife Martha Ann Greer; his parent Marth Ellen Greer (Britt); and his sister Linda Joyce Perkins. He is survived by: his children, Judy Fisher (John) of Shelby, Randy Greer (Guenever) of Mansfield, James Greer of Semora, Angela Thomas (Dave Harris) of Mansfield and Elizabeth Ward (Terry) of Butler, Ohio.; his former wife Elizabeth Diane Hamilton; his grandchildren, Olivia, Owen, Olyssa Fisher, Logan (Taylur), Jacob, Tristan Greer, Kyla Doubek, Kirsten Price (Nathan), Brandon Corwin (Alexis Emrich), Griffin Thompson (Kaden Brown) and Carter Thompson (Faye); his great grandchildren, Eloise Greer and Emily Corwin; and his brothers, James Greer (Wanda) of Mansfield and Harold Greer (Patricia) of Martinsville, Indiana..
