He was predeceased by: his parents, Naomi Girton Keyes (Charles) and Glen "Joe" Goodwin (Loretta); his former wife Charlotte Goodwin; his great grandchild Ellie Allen; and his siblings-in-law, Wayne Gray, Ed Clevenger, Lewis Breedlove (Cheryl), Pam Maglott and Maryann Riley.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah "Deb" Breedlove Goodwin; his children, Chuck Goodwin (Ericka), Sheri Goodwin, Greg Fraley (Tammy) and Chad Fraley (Katie); his grandchildren, Bethany Allen, Emily Kilgore, McKayla Goodwin, Mason Goodwin (Maddie), Austin Fraley and Dylan Fraley; his great grandchildren, Jayden Allen and McKenna Borders; his siblings, Nancy Fulton (Lloyd) and Kevin Parsons (Tracy); and his niece Whitney Breedlove. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
