He was predeceased by: his mother Catherine Rose Liston. He is survived by: his father James L. Liston; and his cousins, Maryann Boaden (Bill), Frances Lietenberger and Joseph W. Gfrer.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Herlihy Funeral Home, 173 Park Avenue West, Mansfield, OH 44902 to help the family with Jim's funeral expenses, or to St. Peter's Church or the Knights of Columbus Council #687.
