He is survived by: his children, Amelia Gordon (Leo), Cynthia Brown, James Brown, Jr., Humphrey Brown, Jr., Mary Ann Brown and Roxanne Brown; his granddaughter Brianna McKinney; his brother Hough Brown of Lemoore, California; and his close friend Velma Windom. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.
