It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James D. Henson in Mansfield, Ohio, who passed away on April 13, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bennie D. Henson and Virginia E. Henson (Mayes); his brothers, Larry Wayne Henson, Gary William Henson and Philip Jeffrey Henson; and his brother-in-law Robert MacGowan.
He is survived by: his wife Joni Henson; his daughters, Kelly Marie Mott (Matt) and Kristen Michele Wiltanger (Shane); his grandchildren, Corbin James Matheny, Jordan Lane Kirk, Benjamin James Wiltanger and Shelbi Grace Sullivan; his great grandchildren, Grace Kelly Kirk, Waylon Walter Kirk, Wesson Whitley Kirk, Gunnar James Matheny and William Joseph Matheny; his sisters, Dorothy MacGowan, Sharon Lookabaugh (Richard) and Jenny Menke (Mark); and his sister-in-law Brenda Henson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and several cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the First Congregational Church (640 Millsboro Rd, Mansfield, OH 44903).
