She was predeceased by: her father Dolphus Wright; and her siblings, Willie, Robert, Sylvester, Jimmy, Ralph Wright, Leona Erwin-Coleman, Eldora Flucker and Rose Wright.
She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Wayne Shepard Sr.; her children, Sheila Reed (Bryon), Sharon Shepard-Wright, Kenneth Wayne Shepard Jr. (Patricia), Charles Shepard (Charlene), Phillip Duty (Sandra) and Garry Duty (Lareta); her sister Mary Carter (Nathaniel); her adoptive daughter Lillian Culliver; her godchildren, Robbie Whitfield, Bernice White and Don Williams Jr. (Fella); and her mother Dora Wright (Waters). She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, and a host of great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and 1 great great great grandchild.
