He is survived by: his son James Byther; his nieces, Doris Davis, Brenda Jones and Paris Couley; his great-niece Tyronika Davis; his great-nephews, Jerrell Jones and Deondre Jones; his daughter-in-law LaToya Devall; his granddaughters, Imanee Devall and Nadia Devall; his former wife Ida Byther Smith; and his close friend Reva Woods. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
