She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Leroy and Doris Taylor (Boor); her husband Fred Robert German; her son Steven German; and her brother Tom Taylor.

She is survived by: her sons, Daniel German (Mary) and Matthew German (Patti); her daughter-in-law Shari German; her grandchildren, Owen German, Kira Hawk and Colton Hawk; and her siblings, John Taylor (Joyce) and Karen Niziolik. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
