He was predeceased by: his parents, William Nickell and Addie Nickell (Royce); his siblings, Robert Nickell, Acey Nickell, Carl Nickell, Olla Mae Alfrey, Callie Jarvis and Pearl Stephens; his grandsons, Larry Nickell Jr. and Kevin Nickell; and his great grandchild Madeline Rose.
He is survived by: his wife Maxine Nickell (Plank); and his children, Larry Nickell (Kathy) of Sevierville, TN, Rebecca Phillips (Brian) of Mansfield, Sue Haney (Gary) of Shelby and Sherry Wolf (Mike). He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
