He was predeceased by: his daughter Ellen Smith; his grandson Matt Myers; his brother Don; his sister-in-law Betty Myers; and his parents, Glenn Sherman Myers and Edna May Myers (Dawson).
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Myers of Mansfield, OH; his sons, Dan Myers (Debbie) of Dublin, OH and John Myers of Columbus; his grandson Dan Smith (Kayla) of Ontario, OH; and his great grandchildren, Roza Smith and Vivien Myers. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
