He was predeceased by: his parents, Jess James and Maude Jarvis (Biggs); his wife Carol "June" Jarvis (Porter); his siblings, Maxine Kash, Evelyn Tabor, Doris Blevins, Raymond Jarvis, Kenneth Jarvis, Harold Jarvis and Bill Jarvis; and his grandson Joseph Etzwiler.
He is survived by: his children, Tricia Jarvis Murray of Mansfield, Lesley Jarvis of Olive Hill, KY, Jeremy Jarvis (Christy) of Mansfield, Joshua Jarvis of Mansfield and Sherry Blevins Etzwiler of Mansfield; and his siblings, Ruth Henderson of Phoenix, AZ, Burt Jarvis and Leola Carroll of Ontario. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, Ltd. (1106 Park Ave E, Mansfield, OH 44905). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
