He is survived by : his wife Deborah Rooks-Bonham; his sons, Justin Rooks (Teresa), Franklin Bonham (Damond), Sidney Bonham, Brendan Bonham and Fontel Bonham; his grandchildren, Ja'Mae Rooks, Jusilynn Rooks, Octavia Taylor, Rashuad Bonham, Janiyyah Brooks, Gianni Bonham, Christian Joshua, Nylah Bonham, Skylar Bonham Ezra Bonham, Adrian Tubbs, Sydney Bonham, Queston Taylor and Arix Taylor; his siblings, Janice Collier, Cassaundra Chester, Donald Feagin, Walter Bonham (Cynthia), James Bonham (Cheri) and Willie Chester; his uncle David Stephens; and his aunt Peggy Brooks. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday, June 29th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Providence Baptist Church (112 W 6th St, Mansfield, OH 44903). A funeral service was held on Saturday, June 29th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
