She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Mask and Callie Mask; her siblings, Floyd, James, Lonnie D, Joe Nathan, Mattie, Chaney V, Florence, Viola, Geneva and Frettie; her nephew Ronald; and her grandson Johari.
She is survived by: her former spouses, Marshall Wade, Debora Wade Moore and Veronica Wade Gamble; her spouse Nancy Wade; her children, Betty Mason (Artie), Johnnie, Aries, Alease, Willie John Blaney and Jennifer Carter (Larry); her sister Helen Mask Johnson; and her nephew Hugh Mask (Linda). She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren, plus a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and close friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Shiloh Baptist Church (130 E 2nd St, Mansfield, OH 44902). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at the Mansfield Cemetery (389 Altamont Ave, Mansfield, OH 44902).
Flossie was a cheerful giver, donating to organizations that helped children, NAACP, Black Women United, volunteering at vacation bible school, and voting registration.
