He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Ramsey and Dorothy Ramsey (Mumaw). He is survived by: his wife Donna Ramsey; his sons, Christopher Ramsey (Kristen) and Ryan Ramsey (Katie); his grandchildren, Emma, Jacob, Alexander and Isaac; his brother James Ramsey (JoAnne); and his cousins, Carol Ramsey, Don Ramsey, Mark Starner and Muriel Homer.
