It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris T Martin (Mansfield, Ohio), who passed away on April 9, 2025, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Doris T Martin to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William McClelland and Luella McClelland (Thornburg); and her husband George Martin. She is survived by: her sons, Jack Martin (Laura) of Mansfield and Tom Martin of Mansfield; her granddaughters, Joni Boyd (Johnny) of Mansfield, Amanda Buskirk (Jeremy) of Sunbury and Abby Hughes (Jamin) of Westerville; her great grandchildren, Kadelyn Becker, Breah, Larkin Boyd, Grace, Norah, Martin Buskirk, Ephraim and Benton Hughes; her nieces and nephews, Stacy Wolford (Tim), Scott McClelland (Ginger) and Jason McClelland (Liberty); and her brothers, Ray McClelland and Keith McClelland.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Snyder Funeral Homes, Marion Avenue Chapel (350 Marion Ave, Mansfield, OH 44903). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Finefrock Chapel of the Marion Avenue Snyder Funeral Home (350 Marion Ave, Mansfield, OH 44903). She had worked as an assembler with Therm-O-Disc, and after her retirement, she went to work volunteering - frequently serving the American Red Cross, and serving on the Administrative Board of RSVP (Retired Seniors Volunteer Program).
With a nod to Doris' young spirit, contributions in her memory may be made to the youth program of Berean Baptist Church or Mansfield Public Library.
