With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Della Jean Sampsel of Mansfield, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 7, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Glen Boyce and Ruby Boyce; her daughter Elizabeth D. Gentry; her siblings, Daniel Boyce (Shirley) and Connie Charles (Bob); her nieces, Shelly Boyce and Diana Lumadue; and her sister-in-law Cindy Sampsel.
She is survived by: her husband William Sampsel; her children, Chris W. Sampsel, Billie Jean Jordan and Andrew G. Sampsel (Holly); her grandchildren, Austin Toon (Miranda), Brandie Harris (Nick), Drew Sampsel, Caleb A. Sampsel, Joel W. Sampsel, Abigail J. Sampsel, Autumn Sampsel, Keeley Gentry, Hailey Gentry, Corey Gentry and Gavin Baker; her brother Glen Boyce, Jr.; her nephews, David Lumadue (Lori), Paul Lumadue (Cindy) and Bobby; and her niece Tammy Rhea (Scott). She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
