He was predeceased by: his father David Burger Sr.; and his brother-in-law Allen Hayes. He is survived by: his mother Connie Burger Trent (Shoemaker); his wife Marsha Burger (Webb); his stepfather Harry Trent; his siblings, Deborah Burger Hayes of Marysville, David Burger Jr. (Diana) of Hubert, NC and Dennis Burger (Joy) of Crestline; his stepsiblings, Harry Trent Jr. (Jennifer) of Winston Salem, NC, Sherry Tucker of Crestline and Kathy Ritz (Jeff) of Ashland; and his cousin Darla Noblet. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
