Elkins of Mansfield, Ohio, born in Ashland, Kentucky, who passed away on October 24, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Dowdy and Lula "Frances" Carroll (Burton); her husband Fred Edward Elkins; her daughter Carla Johnson; her stepfather Willard Carroll; her sister Patsy Dowdy; and her sisters-in-law, Francine and Della Dowdy.
She is survived by: her daughter Julie Elkins; her grandchildren, Danielle Stinehour (Charlie) of Lucas, Tia Sipe of Ontario and Paradise Hilty of Youngstown; her great grandchildren, McKenzie (Zeke), Jaden, Charlize, Nick, Torey, Remi and Ellie; her great great grandchild Aurora; her son-in-law Mark Fitzpatrick of Mansfield; and her siblings, Judy Mock (David) of Crestline, Brenda Barton (Richard) of Little Hocking, Ohio, Carl Dowdy of Mansfield and Jake "Leroy" Dowdy of Niles, OH. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
