He is survived by: his wife Donna Wells; his children, Billy Ray Wells, Jr., Mike Wells and Marlene Lara; his grandchildren, Mason Wells, Drew Sanchez, Austin Wells, Sebastian Wells and Nicholas Crockett; his siblings, Debra McQuigg, Jerry Byrd (Fina) and Raymond Wells; his sister-in-law Carol Sharpless; and his friend Pat Keenan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
