He was predeceased by: his parents, John Jones and Catherine Jones (Garver); his siblings, Gerald, Milton, Virgil Jones and Ruth Jones; and his parents-in-law, Geraldine Hunter and Merlin Hunter.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Jones; his children, Ed Kirkbride, Jeff Jones (Diana) and Tina Fitzpatrick (Mack); his grandsons, Josh Phillips and Adam Butts; his great grandchild Emilee Phillips; his siblings, Robert Jones (Doris), Dale Jones (Sandy) and Carol Dinger; and his sister-in-law Kathy Mollett. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephew, and extended family.
