It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alvin Lewis Smith in Mansfield, Ohio, born in Perrysville, Ohio, who passed away on March 2, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond A. Smith and Mary Rose Smith. He is survived by: his wife Linda Smith of Perrysville; his children, Kevin Smith (Christina) of Virginia, Stewart Smith (Jennifer) of North Carolina and Abigail Helmuth (Josh) of Marysville; his grandchildren, Joshua, Benjamin, Brandon, Leah Smith, Harmonie and Eli Helmuth; and his sisters, Sharon Clark (Hillard), Sona Hodge (Paul), Tricia Calver (Stephen) and Melissa Young.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Ohio Health Hospice in Mansfield and Ashland County Cancer Association.
