He was predeceased by: his father Robert Vernon Hilderbrand; his grandmother Daye Hilderbrand; his wife Reva Watts Hilderbrand; and his brothers, Robert "Bud" and Floyd "Pete" Hilderbrand.
He is survived by: his sons, Samuel Hilderbrand (LeAnn) of Seaman and Joshua Hilderbrand (Jessica) of Manchester; and his sister Edna Shumate of Manchester. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
