He was predeceased by: his father Homer Baldwin; his siblings, Jessie Faye Woodyard, Bill, Ora Marvin "Bib" Baldwin, Kathryn "Sis" and Mable Darlene; and his granddaughter Kayla Renee Baldwin.
He is survived by: his wife Ruby Lee Baldwin (Osman) of Manchester; his children, Samuel Richard Baldwin Jr. (Angie), Vonda Kay Chaney (Michael), Amy Kathryn Davis of Manchester and Vanessa Lee Gilliam (Jeff); his grandchildren, Samantha Dawn Waggoner and Eric; his children, Sydney Shay Gable, JD, Dakota Ozro Baldwin Chaney, Sara Roselee Rayner, Zach, Michala Alexandra Chaney, Josee Lee Davis, Mason Tyler Gilliam and Avery Michael Gilliam; his great grandchild Kaylan Faith Waggoner; and his grandsons, Lucas Ryan Waggoner and Landon Jacob Waggoner.
