He is survived by: his mother Marcella Hare (Groff); his wife Patricia Hare (Smock) of Manchester; his children, John Hare (Stephanie) of Temecula, CA and Edith Fisher (James) of Batavia; his grandchildren, Nathan Hare, Edward Hare, Gabriella Latham and John Hare, Jr.; and his brothers, Tom Hare of Troy, Ohio. and Leonard Hare of Troy, Ohio..
