He is survived by: his sons, Bobby Lovejoy III (Anita), Cole Lovejoy (Lindsay) and Will Lovejoy (Whitney); his grandchildren, Amanda, Alexis Lovejoy, Mia Lovejoy and Scarlett Lovejoy; and his siblings, Allen Lovejoy (Phyllis), David Lovejoy (Connie) and Beverly Cunningham (Kenny). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
