She was predeceased by: her husband Howard Grooms; her parents, Thurman Tomlin and Minnie Tomlin; and her siblings, Alta Leonard, Nellie Carrington, Helen Cluxton, Thurman Tomlin, George Tomlin and Gary Tomlin.
She is survived by: her sons, Dale Grooms (Pam) of West Union and Greg Grooms (Sharon) of Bowling Green, Kentucky.; her grandchildren, Kim Skaggs (Scott), Brandon Grooms (Shelly) and Courtney Meador (Daniel); her great grandchildren, Alexandra, Allison, Ryan, Branson, Trae, Landon and Mason; and her siblings, Mary Abbott, Golda Allen, Sue Huntley, Dallas Tomlin, Dave Tomlin and Doug Tomlin. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
