It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Josephine Hurst of Manchester, Ohio, who passed away on January 23, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Lochbrunner and Louise Lochbrunner (Rettig); her husband Arnold Hurst; and her grandson John Paul Hurst. She is survived by: her sons, Mike Hurst (Nancy), Joe Hurst (Robin) and Jeffery Hurst of Carlisle, OH; and her sister Bonnie Heming of Batavia. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home (216 W Mulberry St, West Union, OH 45693). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at the Cherry Fork Cemetery.
