He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Kimmerly and Perlina Kimmerly; his wife Thelma Kimmerly; his son Charles Kimmerly Sr.; his grandchildren, Robert and Marcia Dull; and his siblings, John, Corda, Mintie, Edward, Robert, Thomas F., Bertha, Jeannie, Samuel, Ross and Charles.
He is survived by: his children, James W. Kimmerly Jr. and Cheryl Dull; his sisters, Annie Frost and Sarah Parsons; his grandsons, Charles C. Kimmerly Jr. (Kylea), Christopher Dull and Craig Dull (Denise); and his great grandchildren, Curtis, Tony, Sofia and Jordan. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
