He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his children, Tim Smith (Kim), Philip Smith, Vickie Sanson (Bradley) and Stephen Smith; his stepchildren, Theresa Farr, Melinda Hopkins-Henline and Oliver A. Hopkins; his grandchildren, Taylor Smith and Peyton Smith; and his brothers, James Smith (Nell) and Richard Smith (Cheryl). He is also survived by numerous step grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
