In the sacred silence of farewell, Robert William is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Robert William's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Shank and Alice Shank (Ramsey); his wife Penny Shank; his sisters, Florence McMasters and Donna Pincheck; and his granddaughter Olivia Brown.
He is survived by: his children, Shannon Shank of Malvern, Sheila Dexter of Malvern and Chad Brown (Cindy) of Frederic, MI; and his siblings, Betty Huff of Sherrodsville, Dan Shank of Pekin and Bill Shank Jr. (Darletta) of Malvern. He is also survived by eight granddaughters; one grandson; 2 great-grandsons; 1 great-granddaughter.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Deckman-Bartley Funeral Home (434 W Main St, Malvern, OH 44644).
