He was predeceased by: his parents, Boyd Elifritz and Mildred Elifritz (Ashworth); and his siblings, Genevieve Caldwell Shuman, Cynthia Strawder, Donald, John, James, Bill and Dale Elifritz.
He is survived by: his children, Kimberly Elifritz of East Sparta, Aaron Elifritz of Magnolia and Kathy Elifritz of East Sparta; his close friend Loretta Woods; his grandchildren, Avery, Paige and Jacob; and his siblings, Raymond Elifritz, Colleen Blymiller and Loretta Hupp. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
