She was predeceased by: her parents, John Baldy and May Baldy (Spurrier); her husband Lyle Schiefer; and her sister Betty. She is survived by: her sons, Mark Schiefer (Nancy), Greg Schiefer and Doug Schiefer (Amy); her grandchildren, Ashley Schiefer (Rick Cummings), Michael Schiefer, Lauren Switzer (Eddie) and Christopher Schiefer; and her siblings, Ginny Damman and Jack Baldy (Vickie). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, please send donation to St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church or Good Shepherd Hall of the church.

“Dorothy was my older sister who practically raised me! She always made sure I was well dressed. I was in school on time as we went together. Her suggestions in life as we grew up gave me many incentives to live as well as I wanted. I have not been able to visit her in recent years because of Covid and some of my illinesses..
