He was predeceased by: his father Donald Nelson; and his brother Gary Nelson. He is survived by: his mother Wanda Smith Nelson (Chantelle Balderson Nelson) of Malta; his children, John Hampton of Malta, Austin Hampton (Izabo) of Jacksonville, Shaela Bryant (Lee) of Kenna, W. Va, Jennifer Underwood (Gavin) of New Lexington and Kayla Callhan (Jerramie) of Lancaster; his siblings, Randy Nelson (Trista) of Malta and Clara Richardson (Craig) of Malta; his sister-in-law Ellen Balderson of McConnelsville; his grandchildren, Chloe, Kolton, Presley, Liam, Riley, Ava, Meckenzie, Adien, Brooklynn and Sydney; his nephews, Ryder, Trayton, Ben and Adam; his close friends, Chris and Jeane Kincaid; and his pet Tucker.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Crossroads Christian Fellowship Church or the Morgan County Coon Hunters Lodge.
