It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steve L. Nichols of Malta, Ohio, born in Zanesville, Ohio, who passed away on May 3, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elvin Nichols and Mary Lou Fitch Nichols; and his grandson Jacob Lane Nichols. He is survived by: his wife Linda Balding Nichols; his children, Joei Waite (Daniel) of Crooksville and Jake Nichols (Jatina) of Malta; his grandchildren, D. J. Waite, Dalton Waite, Dylana Waite, Cody and Blake Nichols; and his brother Chris Nichols (Regina) of Malta.
