He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Burcher and Freda Davis Burcher; and his siblings, Harry, Bill, Tom, Paul, Jim, David, Virginia Shirley, Edith Gilkey and Rosemary Hinton.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Schofield; his daughter Michelle Burcher; and his brother Gary Burcher (Lorrie) of Glouster, OH. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
