She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Roy F. Ballard and Beulah Ballard (Walsh). She is survived by: her husband David Bankes of Malta; her children, Judy Wilson (Daniel), Jon Bankes (Ash), Kat Norris (Adam) and Lisa Smith (Jacob); her grandchildren, Joshua Wilson (Regina), Tabitha Downing (Aaron), Makayla Bankes, Samuel Wilson, Stephen Wilson, Timothy Wilson, Jonah Norris, Jedidiah Wilson, Sara Smith, Anna Norris, Kemuel Wilson, Rachel Bankes, Olivia Smith, Adiel Wilson, Jamin Wilson, Alexander Smith and Ian Bankes; and her great grandchildren, Jeremiah Wilson and Aria Wilson.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in her name to the Morgan High School Music Boosters.
