It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Yoder of Malta, Ohio, born in Nappanee, Indiana, who passed away on September 30, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Hochstetler and Emma Hochstetler (Yoder); her husband Alfred; her son Samuel Yoder; her grandson Carlan Yoder; her siblings, Harley Hochstetler and Laura Byler; and her siblings-in-law, Susanna Hochstetler, Mary Ann Hochstetler and Dan Hochstetler.
She is survived by: her children, LaVerne Yoder (Mary) of Malta, OH and Jim Yoder (Naomi) of Columbia, NC; her adoptive son Anthony McCormick; her siblings, Dan Hochstetler (Amanda) of Middlefield, OH, Alma Byler of Hermitage, PA and Esther Hostetler of Middlefield, OH; and her brother-in-law Eli Byler of Wautoma, WI. She is also survived by twenty-five grandchildren and twenty-nine great- grandchildren.
